Oak Frame Garage/Barn

We were engaged to design a double garage with space for gynasium and games area. We proposed the use of an oak frame with king post vauted ceilng that would allow natural light to flood in via the eight large rooflights. The building was fully insulated and all openings were sealed to prevent heat loss and draughts. The use of green oak cladding which will silver as it weathers and slate roof covering, willl enable the large structure to blend well into the surounding environment.
